Smithson Real Estate Company, LLC, founded by Joe Smithson in 1989, is a commercial real estate brokerage and development company specializing primarily in the development and management of investment properties in the metro Atlanta area.

The company has developed and re-positioned over 1 million square feet of industrial, office and retail space over the past ten years, of which 300,000 is currently owned and managed by the company. At the present time, the company is creating a master use plan for 33 acres it owns fronting on I-985 just north of the Atlanta Falcons complex.
